Rights for Fixed-Term Employees

Fixed-term employees have a right not to be treated less favourably than comparable permanent employees because they are on a fixed-term contract, unless the treatment can be objectively justified. This covers their contractual terms and benefits and opportunities for training and promotion. They also have a right to be informed of any vacancies.
