Minimum wage: calculating hours

There are four types of work: time work (workers are paid according to the amount of time they actually work); salaried hours work (workers are paid to work a fixed number of hours per year); output work (workers are paid based on their productivity); and unmeasured work (workers who do not fall into any of the other categories). The type of work determines how to calculate the number of hours worked for minimum wage purposes.
