Trade unions threatened with anti-strike laws
Secretary of State for Transport Chris Grayling is examining the UK government's approach to industrial action as there was a "lot of interest" in new strike laws to prevent infrastructure being held to ransom by unions following announcements on 12 January 2017 that further industrial action will affect trains, airlines and the London Underground.
