The Immigration Skills Charge Regulations 2017. SI 2017/499

In Force: 6 April 2017. These Regulations 2017 impose an obligation on persons who sponsor skilled migrants from certain overseas territories to pay a charge in respect of each skilled migrant whom they sponsor (the charge). These Regulations set out how the charge will operate, including by setting the amount of the charge, and providing exemptions from the obligation to pay it. The Regulations also specify when the charge must be paid and the consequences of non-payment.
