Sports Direct like a 'Victorian workhouse'

A Business, Innovation and Skills Committee report on employment practices at Sports Direct concludes that Mike Ashley must be held accountable for the "appalling" working conditions and practices at the retailer's shops and warehouse. It finds it irresponsible, if not reckless, that Sports Direct pay £50 million to The Best Connection and Transline Group when these agencies do not seem to have a basic understanding of employment law and practices.
