Sexual orientation discrimination case: homophobic comments on radio programme - Judgment in Case C-507/18 (NH v Associazione Avvocatura per i diritti LGBTI-Rete Lenford). No 48/20

Ruling in NH v Associazione Avvocatura per i diritti LGBTI-Rete Lenford (C-507/18), the Grand Chamber determined that a statement made by a person during an audiovisual programme, which suggested that they would never hire persons of a certain sexual orientation, constituted discrimination in employment and occupation as they were made by a person who has or may be perceived as having a decisive influence on an employer's recruitment policy.
