Secretary, 89, wins £200,000 payout for ageism
The oldest worker ever to sue successfully for age discrimination has been awarded £200,000 after winning her case against the NHS after claiming that she had felt "humiliated" when she was dismissed over claims that she could not use a computer. Managers at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust had also made "inappropriate and hurtful" comments about her age and health .
