Scottish judges criticise plans for devolution of employment tribunals
Scottish judges have criticised plans to devolve employment tribunals to Scotland claiming the reforms will "seriously undermine" the system and lead to a "second rate" service which could deny workers access to justice. The judges claim that under the proposed changes, sheriffs lacking the same comprehensive knowledge of employment and equality laws could be called upon to sit in employment cases.Link to Herald article
