Royal Mail wins strike injunction
Royal Mail has won an injunction in the High Court preventing a postal worker strike due to commence on 19 October 2017 in a long-running disagreement over pensions, pay and jobs. It would have been the first national walkout since Royal Mail was privatised in 2013.
