Remedies for unfair dismssal (EAT case) - George v Brent LBC [EAT] 08.01.16 (Unreported)
Employment law – Unfair dismissal – Remedies – Calculation of compensation. HELD that the summary of the approach to compensation in Software 2000 Ltd v Andrews, whilst impeccable at the time, now had to be treated with some caution, at least in so far as it included in the sequential approach it summarised a stage referring to the now repealed Employment Rights Act 1996 Pt X s.98A(2).
