Recruitment Sector: Government response to the consultation on reforming the regulatory framework for the recruitment sector and proposal to prohibit EEA-only recruitment.

BIS response to its consultation on changes to the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003. The Department stated its intentions to: remove regs 9, 11 and 17 and Sch.6, and amend reg.23 and Schs 4 and 5 of the Regulations, which cover business to business activity; and amend reg.27A to ban employment agencies and businesses from recruiting solely from other EEA countries without advertising in the UK.
