Race in the workplace: The McGregor-Smith Review

An independent review by Baroness McGregor-Smith considers the issues affecting black and minority ethnic (BME) groups in the workplace. It sets out recommendations for employers in the public and private sectors to improve diversity within their organisations. It calls on companies with more than 50 employees to: publish a breakdown of their workforce by race and pay band; draw up fiver-year diversity targets; and nominate a board member to deliver these.
