Presenting gender pay gap figures to the public: an online randomised controlled trial - Research report
A Government Equalities Office publication, which examined the understanding of gender pay figures of 2,325 adults, claims that people need more support when interpreting gender pay gap data to help them draw meaningful conclusions and assist in holding companies to account. It also warns that previous research suggested employers might be unlikely to take action to correct pay gaps if they thought public understanding of the figures was poor.Link to Research report
