Pregnant healthcare assistant takes action against NHS agency
In a potentially landmark case over contractual rights during the coronavirus pandemic, a pregnant healthcare assistant is planning legal action against NHS Professionals for refusing to put her on furlough. After being sent home for safety reasons at the start of the pandemic, "Ms A" has been without pay for eight weeks which her lawyers argue is a breach of the Employment Rights Act.Link to article
