No compensation for injury to feelings in breach of Working Time Regs - Gomes v Higher Level Care Ltd [CA] 13.03.18 (Unreported)

Employment tribunals did not have the power to award compensation for injury to feelings where there had been a breach of the Working Time Regulations 1998 reg.30(4). The Regulations did not have to be construed in such a way as to provide that power in order to give effect to EU law obligations under Directive 2003/88.
