Morrisons face 'vast payout' over data leak claims

Morrisons faces having to pay "vast" compensation after approximately 100,000 staff data records, such as bank account details, addresses and telephone numbers, were stolen and posted online in 2014. Morrisons said it would take the first ever data leak class action to the Supreme Court after three Court of Appeal judges backed an earlier ruling that it was legally responsible for the breach.
