Met gets first "bi-gender" officer
The Metropolitan Police (Met) has the UK's first "bi-gender" officer, who has been issued with two warrant cards, one in a male name and the other in a female name. The Met said that this was to reflect the individual's two identities. It will be left to the officer, who has been issued with two sets of uniforms, to decide whether to report for work in either male or female identities.
