Meaning of "stable working relationship" under Equality Act 2010 - Barnard v Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority [EAT] 19.12.19 (Unreported)

The Employment Appeal Tribunal construed the phrase "stable working relationship" for the purposes of determining the qualifying period applicable to a claim for equality of terms under the Equality Act 2010 s.129 and s.130(3). An internal promotion that was part of a natural and incremental progression into higher grades was indicative of a continued "stable working relationship".
