Lack of causal connection in disability discrimination case - iforce Ltd v Wood [EAT] 03.01.19 (Unreported)

An employment tribunal had erred in allowing an employee's disability discrimination claim under the Equality Act 2010 s.15 which was based on her mistaken belief that a change in working practices would exacerbate her disability. No causal connection had been established between the "something" which led to the alleged unfavourable treatment, namely the employee's refusal to adopt the new practice, and her disability.
