Judgment re working time, annual leave and parental leave - Dicu v Ministerul Justitiei (2018) (C-12/17) [ECJ] 04.10.18 (Unreported)

Reference for a preliminary ruling — Social policy — Organisation of working time — Directive 2003/88/EC — Right to paid annual leave — Directive 2010/18/EU — Revised Framework Agreement on parental leave — Parental leave not regarded as a period of actual work. HELD that the Working Time Directive art.7 allowed national rules under which a period of parental leave was not treated as a period of actual work for the purpose of determining paid annual leave entitlement under that provision.
