Jewish nursery wins appeal over sacking teacher

A Jewish nursery has been cleared of religious discrimination after sacking an unmarried teacher who lived with her partner. The judge ruled that the woman was discriminated against because of her sex not her religion, and that an employer is permitted to dismiss where there is a contravention of its beliefs.
