Independent Review of the Modern Slavery Act - Second interim report: Transparency in supply chains

A Home Office document sets out the second interim report from the independent review of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 look at the question of increasing transparency in supply chains. Recommendations include: clarifying the companies in scope; improving the quality of statements; embedding modern slavery reporting into business culture; increasing transparency; monitoring and enforcing compliance; influencing consumer attitudes and extending s.54, transparency in supply chains, to the public sector.
