Impacts of minimum wages: review of the international evidence

An independent review commissioned by the Government considering the international evidence on the impacts of minimum wages and the implications for UK policy, supports increasing the National Living Wage. The report, by Professor Arindrajit Dube, concludes minimum wages in a range of countries have had negligible or zero effect on jobs, but significantly increased the earnings of the lowest paid.
