Immigration Bill introduced - Immigration Bill 2015 (HC Bill No.74).

A Bill to make provision about the law on immigration and asylum; to make provision about access to services, facilities, licences and work by reference to immigration status; to make provision about the Director of Labour Market Enforcement; to make provision about language requirements for public sector workers; to make provision about fees for passports and civil registration; and for connected purposes. This Government Bill was presented to Parliament (its First Reading) on 17 September 2015. A collection of documents relating to the Immigration Bill 2015 has been issued by UK Visas and Immigration, including guidance documents on each part of the Bill; a factsheet giving an overview of the Bill; a delegated powers memorandum; and an overarching impact assessment.
