HR’s role in supporting grievance and disciplinary procedures
Brodies LLP is excited to announce the launch of ‘BInformed’, a new interactive and engaging seminar programme which will take place throughout May & June across Edinburgh, Glasgow & Aberdeen.
The first employment seminar will take place on Thursday, when we will look at HR’s role in supporting grievance and disciplinary procedures.
As you might imagine, we spend a lot of time with HR teams who are dealing with grievance and disciplinary investigations. It is often the process that can make or break the defence to subsequent complaints or litigation. Our work gives us a bird’s eye view of both good practice and pitfalls. We thought that it would be useful to share our thoughts with you on these and HR’s role in helping the business through an investigation or carrying it out. The seminar will focus on the HR role and will cover some top tips for conducting the investigations, handling meetings and supporting decision-making.
