Holyrood kick out SNP bid to block trade union laws

Holyrood has rejected the Scottish Government's bid that Scotland opt-out of UK trade union laws currently drafted in a Westminster Bill. The SNP's request for a Legislative Consent Motion was deemed "not competent" by the presiding officer.
