Government to introduce anti-strike legislation

The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills has announced plans to ban strikes unless 40% of workers vote in favour of industrial action, the has announced. The government will also require at least a 50% turnout for such votes. Proposals to allow employers to hire agency staff are to be prioritised.
