Government response to the consultation on amendments to employment tribunal postponement procedures

A Department for Business, Innovation and Skills publication summarises responses to its January 2015 consultation on proposals to limit the circumstances in which parties may be granted postponement of a hearing in the employment tribunal. Following responses the Government intends to revise the provision to take account of circumstances where a last minute postponement is requested for reasons of ill health related to an existing long term health condition or disability.
