Google settles class action lawsuit with older job applicants
Technology company Google has settled an age discrimination lawsuit with respect to its job application process by paying $11 million dollars to over 200 jobseekers. Members of the class action suit, all aged over 40 when they applied to work at the company, claim that it was unfairly dismissive of older applicants but Google argues that they were not considered as they were not able to demonstrate technical prowess.Link to article
