Gender pay gap at 500 companies revealed
According to gender pay gap data, 80% of 527 organisations paid women less per hour on average than men. Organisations with 250 or more employees are now obliged to publish data on the gap, with the Government publishing the results from the first 527 firms to do so. The statistics show that retailer Phase Eight pays men nearly 65% more per hour, whilst EasyJet was 53% more.
