Evidence on the National Minimum Wage (including the National Living Wage)
A Low Pay Commission consultation seeks evidence in relation to the national living wage, particularly the impact of past increases, the economic outlook following the Brexit vote and the affordability of possible future increases. The consultation also seeks evidence in relation to rates affecting workers under 25 and apprentices, notably their impact on employment prospects, arguments for and against faster increases for these rates, and the effects of future increases.
