Equal pay in councils: Impact report

An Accounts Commission report summarises the impact made by its September 2017 performance audit "Equal pay in Scottish councils" which examined equal pay in local government including how councils implemented the Single Status Agreement (SSA), how much councils had spent settling equal pay claims, how councils demonstrated that they were dealing effectively with equal pay, claims and minimising future risks, how effective the governance and oversight arrangements of the SSA were and what lessons could be learned for the future.
