Employment law in 2014

Given the number of employment law changes in 2013 – employment tribunal fees; employee shareholder contracts; and settlement agreements to name a few – at first glance 2014 looks like a relatively quiet year. However, there will be some important changes, particularly TUPE reform; compulsory pre-claim ACAS conciliation; and the extension of the right to request flexible working.
