Dismissal of officer of clinical commissioning group: whether redundancy - Nimalraj v NHS Thurrock Clinical Commissioning Group [QBD] 15.06.17 (Unreported)

Dismissal from the post of Interim Accountable Officer for a clinical commissioning group when a permanent officer was to be appointed and the interim role abolished was dismissal because of redundancy within the meaning of the National Health Service (Clinical Commissioning Groups) Regulations 2012 Sch.5 para.6. The dismissed officer was therefore not barred by Sch.5 para.6 from standing for election to the group's governing body.
