Defects in disciplinary procedure - reasonableness of dismissal - Khan v Stripestar Ltd [EAT] 10.05.16 (Unreported)

Unfair dismissal - Reasonableness of Dismissal – Disciplinary procedures. HELD that the Employment Judge had been correct in concluding that a lack of credibility on the part of a witness who had conducted a disciplinary hearing that was disregarded as procedurally and substantively unfair did not inevitably render the whole dismissal unfair. The defects had been remedied by a subsequent investigation and appeal hearing.
