Claim for wrongful dismissal within unfair prejudice petition - Wootliff v Rushton-Turner [ChD] 03.11.16 (Unreported)

A shareholder and former employee of a company was entitled to pursue a claim for wrongful dismissal within an unfair prejudice petition presented pursuant to the Companies Act 2006 s.994. The court had a wide discretion under s.996 to grant relief; the issues arose from the same facts; and it would be inefficient, disproportionate and a waste of resources for the claims to be heard in separate proceedings.
