Cameron vows to close the pay gap for women; Consultation on closing the gender pay gap

The Prime Minister has set out his plan to "end the gender pay gap in a generation". The National Living Wage aims to help close the gender pay gap, and companies with more than 250 employees will have to publish the difference between the average pay of their male and female employees. A consultation has also been launched, which will look at how the new gender pay gap regulations will be designed.
