Blacklisted construction industry trade unionists win compensation
Around 420 trade unionists have received undisclosed damages in out of court settlements from construction firms in relation to a secret system to blacklist thousands of workers, who were prevented from getting jobs. Another group of approximately 90 workers have yet to settle and are due to have their case heard in the English High Court on 9 May.
