Awards for injury to feelings - South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service v Mansell [EAT] 30.01.18 (Unreported)

All forms of detriment under the Employment Rights Act 1996 Pt V were akin to discrimination and victimisation and gave rise to a potential award for injury to feelings under s.49. Whether such an award should be made and, if so, in what amount, was a question of fact for the employment tribunal in each particular case.
