Application of International Labour Standards 2016

In its annual report on the application of conventions and recommendations, the International Labour Organisation urges the UK Government to review some of the most controversial provisions of the Trade Union Bill 2015 to ensure they do not contravene international labour law. The ILO calls on the Government to only allow the use of replacement workers during industrial action affecting "essential services".
