Application for extension of time for appealing against ET judgment: notice of appeal lost in post - Haydar v Pennine Acute NHS Trust [CA] 06.03.18 (Unreported)

An extension of time for appealing against an employment tribunal's judgment had rightly been refused, notwithstanding the fact that the applicant's notice of appeal, which had been sent in time, had been lost in the post. The applicant had acted unreasonably in failing to read the EAT's booklet advising litigants to react promptly to the non-receipt of an acknowledgement of service
