An immigration system that works for science and innovation (Eighth Report of Session 2017-18. HC Paper No.1061)
A Science and Technology Committee report explores its proposed immigration proposal for the science and innovation community. The proposal is based on several principles, including the need: to support individuals with different types and levels of skill, and who are at different career stages, as well as their dependents; to readily recruit highly skilled people, wherever they are from, without being subject to an annual limit; and to enable further travel, outside the UK, for research purposes, without it affecting an individual's ability to apply for indefinite leave to remain.https://publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm201719/cmselect/cmsctech/1061/1061.pdf
