Amnesty gagged woman in equal pay dispute
The human rights organisation Amnesty International required a woman to sign a gagging order to settle an equal pay dispute. Ailsa Dixon, former manager of the Amnesty bookshop in Edinburgh, received a payout in return for dropping her tribunal claim of discrimination and signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to resolve the case.
