1,500 firms break law as they fail to report gender pay gap

The Equality and Human Rights Commission has announced that 1,500 large UK companies could face legal action after failing to report their gender pay gap by the 4 April 2018 deadline. Those that have failed to report in time have been given a further 28 days to report their figures, and those that fail to do so will be "named and shamed", face court action, and unlimited fines.
