Paternity Pay: Administration

Statutory paternity pay (SPP) is paid at the lower of either a prescribed rate set by the government each year, or 90% of an employee’s normal weekly earnings. Depending on the size of your business you will be able to recover most or all SPP from HMRC. You must keep certain records relating to SPP for three years.
