Carer’s Leave

There is no statutory right to carer’s leave at present in the UK, although some organisations do offer this. Even if you don’t provide carer’s leave, employees with caring responsibilities may be entitled to apply for flexible working, and they may be entitled to time off for dependants, family leave (such as maternity or paternity leave) or parental leave, or they may wish to use their holiday entitlement to help them manage their caring responsibilities.
