Construction Workers Compensation Scheme

Eight construction firms who were involved in The Consulting Association (TCA) blacklisting scandal have set up “The Construction Workers Compensation Scheme” (TCWCS). The scheme pays out compensation to workers who appeared on the TCA blacklist between 1993 and 2009. Launched on 4 July 2014, the scheme is open to applicants until 30 June 2016. It has two mechanisms under which workers can claim compensation. Workers can claim between £4,000 and £20,000 under the fast-track system, and up to £100,000 under the full review.
