Redundancy: Payments

All employees with at least two years’ continuous service are entitled to a statutory redundancy payment, calculated on the basis of their age and length of service.

Employees may also be entitled to a contractual enhanced redundancy payment, as a result of a redundancy policy being an express term of employment or where implied redundancy terms have become contractual by custom and practice.
